Scotia Law Training will train public sector staff for work as a Paralegal
* Scotia provides Scotland's only Paralegal Modern Apprenticeship training programme, qualifying apprentices for entry to the Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal scheme.
* It is an ideal way of training the following staff: case preparers; caseworkers; debt/ arrears collectors; fraud investigators; and contract managers etc.
* Apprentices follow a paralegal training programme approved by the Scottish legal profession when the Apprenticeships were developed.
* Apprentices' employers choose one of these paralegal specialisms: Conveyancing; Wills & Executries; Civil Litigation; or Criminal Litigation.
* 12 months of distance learning & suitable for staff of any age.
* Partial funding from Skills Development Scotland for all staff.
